workmanship

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10

We learned today that the Greek word for workmanship used in this verse is poema. This Greek word is where our English word poem comes from. We are God's poem, His work of art. It makes me think, am I living up to such a lovely name-God's poem? With the new year rapidly approaching I also wonder.... am I doing the work that God has prepared for me?
