These photos are from a trip our family took to Laughlin Nevada at the end of March. Laughlin is at the southern tip of Nevada on the Colorado river. If you cross over the river you are in Arizona. There was so much in bloom, it was beautiful.
The bougainvillea was amazing.

This plant reminded me of fireworks.

Here's the same flower. This photo was taken by my 9 year old son. He did an AMAZING job.

These trees had really lovely, exotic looking flowers. The next three photos show close ups of the flowers. If anyone knows the name of this plant, please let me know.
