white crackle pumpkins

My project started with this box of pumpkins I bought at Walmart for $5.00.

I took two of the larger orange ones and decided to try a little experiment.

First I gave them several coats of brown paint. Then I put on a crackle medium. Once that was tacky, I brushed on some ivory paint.

It worked! Cute, little, white pumpkins with a crackle glaze.
