Happy Easter Sign

Well, I decided I'd made enough white and taupe Easter decorations, it was time for a little color! Pink and green are the colors of Spring. So I whipped up this Happy Easter sign using supplies I already had.

I started by spray painting a blue frame I was no longer using with Heirloom White paint. I then hot glued a piece of fabric to the back of the frame.

I then started layering. White tags on the bottom, pink tags on top and Martha Stewart sticker letters on top of that. I hot glued the bright green buttons on that look like they are holding up the tags.

I cut the white tags varying sizes and used scalloped scissors on the bottom. I then dry brushed some hot pink paint around the edges using a foam brush.

Then the fun part.....decorating the fireplace mantle.

I placed some pink, cream, and green eggs in a candy jar.

I also used these egg cups I bought last year at JoAnne fabrics. (I love these!)
