I thought I'd show you all the way I decorated my mantel for Easter. I like it so much I may keep it this way all Spring! (giveaway winner is at the bottom of this post)
I found this sweet twiggy nest at TJ Maxx.
Now why didn't I think of covering an egg with moss? Goodness knows I used everything else.
Here's what the candles looked like when I bought them (from the grocery store!).
I turned their tags around, trimmed them, used distress ink and added stickers.
Here is the before photo of my thrift store candlesticks.
And here is how the candlesticks look after I painted them.
The before rooster "thingy" (from Homegoods).
I just added a little twine so he didn't look so shiny.
The left side of the mantel.
The right side of the mantel.
This is the first make over I gave it. But the black paint was to shiny for my taste.
A little rooster pitcher I got on clearance at TJ Maxx (can you tell I love that store?)
I love the fresh rosemary. I will be putting it out in the garden soon.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!!
The winner of my give away is....Sue Ann's Journey. Check out her blog, it's quite a treat!
I've joined the Mantel Party at The Nester!
