Wayfair Christmas Tree Review

I am excited to have partnered up Wayfair.com to review one of their Christmas trees. Normally we have a real tree but I was welcoming the idea of not having to clean up after a messy tree this year. I was also liking the idea of being able to enjoy the tree longer. It seems like we are taking it down just as we put it up.

Wayfair has many trees to choose from at various price points. Plus they have FREE shipping on all of their trees. I seriously spent a few hours looking thru them all trying to decide which tree I wanted them to send to me. I ended up choosing their National Tree Co. Balsam Fir. I loved the old time feel it showed in the picture.
The tree came quickly and we were all excited to see what it looked like. Note the box did receive a little damage in transit but to me that is understandable. We will still be able to store the tree back in the box after the holidays if we choose to though I may just end up purchasing a tree storage bag.
At this point I was a little nervous about what the tree was actually going to look like but the box said 'Good Enough to Fool Santa".
Oldest striking a pose here while helping me unpack the tree.
The tree came packaged very nicely.
It came in 4 parts. The base, the bottom, the middle and the top.
Here it is after I assembled it which only took about 10 minutes. Note the stand I have it in is NOT the stand that came with the tree. I wanted the tree to fit in our galvanized bucket and the stand that came with the tree was too wide for it so I had to improvise. Edit: DO NOT IMPROVISE with your tree stand. If it does not fit in the bottom of the tub with its original stand on it do NOT try and make it fit. Our tree tried to topple over and I am now on the hunt for a tub that the original tree stand will fit in.
After assembly it was  time to turn the lights on. I will be honest I was not so sure 750 lights would be enough. I always put a ton of lights on our tree but this tree surprised me. It looks like it has way more than just 750 lights on it.
Here is the tree after I spent an hour and half fluffing all the limbs. The tree is 7 ft 6 so there were quite a few limbs to fluff.
I have to say I am truly impressed on how good the tree looks in person!
It has two different types of "needles" which adds to its realistic look and fullness.
So does the tree look like the one online? I am going to chalk this one up to possibly. Why possibly? Well because I can certainly see a similarity and I am thinking it all has to do with the person fluffing the tree. I should have left the "needles" straight but instead I curled them more upwards if that makes sense. I wish they gave you directions on how to fluff the tree or if there was a Youtube video for each style tree so the buyer could see tutorials on how to make them look exactly like the online pic.

Even though I could not get the tree to look exactly like the online pic I give this tree two thumbs up. It is a great quality tree and Wayfair customer service was excellent. I can see us using this tree for years to come.
I am currently working on decorating our new tree and can not wait to share it with you all!
