As you can see Grant was a very menacing Ninja for Halloween. He found out it is very hot to wear an all black costume in Las Vegas. But he still had a lot of fun being a ninja and I'm sure he'll put on the costume and wear it around the house when the mood hits him. On Thursday there was a Halloween party at school. Today there was no school because in Nevada we don't celebrate Columbus Day, we celebrate Nevada Day instead. This year Nevada day fell on Halloween (for the first time since we have lived here). No school on Halloween totally rocks!!
Grant and I had a great day first we lazed around the house, then we went and ran errands (boring), then we went out to lunch at Mimi's Cafe where Grant got to have hot chocolate and after lunch ice-cream (it comes w/ the kids meal). Might as well get him sugared up early! We then went to Kings Fair which has lots of bouncy houses and candy. Then we came home and Dad took Grant out trick or treating. Finally by 7:30 Grant was tired out, came home and he passed out candy. By 8:00 p.m. no more trick or treaters, Grant was getting cranky so he is vegging out in front of the T.V. and stuffing his face with candy. ahhhh Halloween one of the "funnest" days on the planet when you are a kid.... and yes I've already dipped into his loot several times!
