I'm still on the prowl for the perfect tray for my living room and I still have not found it, but I'm having fun finding "good enough for now" trays in the mean time.
I just love the way things look gathered together on a tray!
The tray started out as a wagon I found at the thrift store.
It used to hold blocks or toys of some kind.
So if your kids have one and they have finished playing with it then ask if you can "borrow" it. ;)
I painted the wheels a color called Gray Wolf, it is from Martha Stewart's brand of acrylic craft paint.
The body is a combo of the gray and some white paint.
At one point it was looking terrible and I almost donated it back to the thrift store hoping
someone else could do something with it.
But I decided to just keep playing with the paint until I came up with something I liked.
I sprayed the tray with poly when I was finished painting it.
I love finding things at the thrift store and looking at them in a whole new way!
A fun side by side. :)
