Field Trip to the Bellagio

Now don't be angry with me. I'm showing something indoors on Outdoor Wednesday. But what I'm showing you is the amazing conservatory and botanical garden inside the Bellagio hotel here in Las Vegas. So I thought you could give me a little leeway because the conservatory is filled with unique plants and other awe inspiring things made out of natural materials.

Humongous Christmas tree going up towards the glass ceiling. Giant Christmas balls and nutcrackers.

My boys with a GIANT snowman and candy cane.

I think this combo of plants is so pretty.

These reindeer go up to the ceiling.

I think they are covered in nuts.

Beautiful mosaic on the floor.

Have you ever seen ruffled poinsettia before?

Or how about these variegated poinsettia? Don't they look lovely next to the white "snow".

This Giant horse actually rocks back and forth.

The trains go round the track and through a covered bridge made out of twigs.

There is an upscale garden shop next to the conservatory. I love these little glass plates.

Aren't the fern napkin rings so cool!

Giant garland and bows.

We loved the polar bears.

Here's a close up. See the natural materials they are made out of.

Now we've left the conservatory and are in a shopping area at the hotel. You can see the Chanel shop in the background. I shop there all the time. LOL. What do you think about these giant presents all covered with mirror. Very Las Vegas!

In the lobby. Isn't this gorgeous!

Enormous!!

Huge planter box, huge nutcracker and hanging from the ceiling......

Giant pieces of candy! (beautiful ceiling too)

Glass and metal ceiling in the shopping mall too.

This glass ceiling in the lobby is in the Guinness book of World Records.

It consists of 2,000 hand blown glass flowers.

Created by the artist Dale Chihuly. The colors are breathtaking.

Love this!

I'm ending with a very blurry picture of me hoping you've enjoyed the tour! If you ever visit Las Vegas try to stop by the Bellagio. The conservatory changes with the seasons and is always amazing.
