My Christmas Bedroom 2013

I had so much fun making the master bedroom all romantic and cozy for Christmas.

The starting point is a headboard makeover that I haven't had a chance to share on my blog yet.

I had the perfect garland to go over the arched headboard.

I bought the garland on sale a couple of years ago and never found a place to use it, until now.

Since there are red berries on the garland I decided I'd bring in little bits of red into the

mostly white room.

An overview of the bedroom.

I decorated the nightstands for you, but as soon as the photos were taken I admit I put it all away.

I don't want to knock it over when I'm reaching for my chapstick in the middle of the night.

On hubby's side of the bed I placed a tree in a vintage bucket.

 (the bucket is for sale in my Etsy shop so hopefully I won't have it much longer ;).

I added an adorable little mushroom house I found at World Market last year and tucked

 in a little greenery.

On my side of the bed I placed a cloche with Santa and a deer.

I had a heck of a time getting this Santa to stand up! He kept wanting to fall over.

I kind of have a love/hate relationship with cloche.

They are so pretty, but it is difficult to get things situated underneath.

I added a cozy throw to the bed for a little contrast.

There are red stripes on the throw, but they don't show up very well in my photos.

To decorate the bench I simply wrapped a present and tucked in more greenery.

I've never decorated the bench before and I think it is a fun touch.

It is nice to have something besides piles of laundry on it.

The deer pillow is from H&M's online store.

It is actually a pillowcase and I just tucked the sides back.

I love having lots of reindeer in my Christmas décor.

I think I'm going to have visions of sugarplums dancing in my head tonight.

If only I knew what a sugar plum was!

Across from the bed is an armoire I decorated with a wreath I made last year.

A pillow with red trim.

 (which once again barely shows up in the photos, grrr)

Presents wrapped in faux bois paper on top of the armoire.

This chair is going to get a makeover in 2014.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it be done!

On the chair I placed a tree in a vintage bucket.

Simple. :)
